Travel Day
We leave in four hours.
I can't really believe it.
It's a clear cold morning, I can see the sun rising behind the pine trees.
Ok ... I'm outa here!

It has been a pleasure to read your log of the days leading up to today; THE day. I really am excited for you and am eager to hear about the trip and how you're settling in.
Good vibes as I look out my window at the sky; you're probably flying somewhere close overhead now; good luck, blogger friend.
P.S. Yes, that's me; in honour of the on-coming winter, and the fact that I was getting tired of the raging monster....
Eine gute Reise! "See" you on this side of the pond...
Wishing you and yours a good flight, sir.
i dont think i've ever told u this before- but i'm so jealous! i LOVE germany. i might move to berlin next spring...(ah berlin, home of the european artist...)
have a good flight! And a smooth landing in Cologne,
Here's hoping you had a good trip!
J wrote some great pointers for life in Germany. Jen said in one of her entries that you seemed concerned about learning German. It sounds a lot more intimidating than it actually is. German is really a lot more phonetic and much more descriptive than English so if you get a good teacher, it shouldn't be an issue :)
Best of luck and welcome to your new home!
Wishing you a safe and pleasant flight.
Looking forward to the 'we've landed' post!
Hope you all arrived safely!
Welcome to Germany!
Hope the flight was a good one.
Welcome to Krautland. See, it'll be easy. You just moved here and you have firends ALL over the country.
welcome and hope all is well.

oh and don't forget to bring your own bags to the grocery store.
Hope you had a great trip and are getting settled in! I found your blog as I've been looking for other people who are going through the process of leaving the US and moving to Germany. Tomorrow I plant to tell my company that I will accept an offer to move to Munich and work in Europe. My boyfriend is German and lives in Munich and we've been looking for this type of opportunity.
I wish you well and look forward to hearing more about how you like it and how you are adjusting. Good Luck!
Thanks everyone!
We made it ... this far...
